Marius Daniel Popescu, né à Craiova (Roumanie) en 1963 et établi à Lausanne depuis 1990 où il gagne sa vie en qualité de chauffeur de bus aux Transports publics locaux.
Pour son roman La Symphonie du Loup, paru aux éditions Corti en 2007, il a reçu le prix Robert Walser 2008. Pour Radio::Sheherazade.ch, il lit des extraits de son roman.
